While listing a series of governance achievements in Jammu and Kashmir, Home Minister Amit Shah made special mention of the Mission Youth.
The Home Minister today launched district level good governance index for Jammu and Kashmir. Shah formally launched the index and made a 20-minute long speech through virtual mode from New Delhi which was joined in by the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh and top officers.
In his speech, the Home Minister made special mention of the Mission Youth for empowerment of young people in Jammu and Kashmir. He recalled that during his visit to Kashmir in October 2021, had interacted with over 63,000 youth brought together by the Mission Youth.
The Home Minister complimented Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for running such a creative programme for creative employment and offering other opportunities to the young people.
The Home Minister called upon the youth to take advantage of opportunities provided by the Mission Youth.
The Mission Youth is headed by senior IAS officer Shahid Choudhary as its Chief Executive Officer.
